Looking to explore? The Asbury Travel More Project is a unique opportunity to recognize and celebrate the presence and gifts of our neighbors with various cultures and faiths in the KC area and beyond. Our first adventure of the year is a "Trip to Taiwan" right here in Kansas City this April, and we'd love for you to join us!
Check out the itinerary below, and register by Saturday, March 28.
- Week 1: Listening to a Presentation about Taiwan and Taiwanese immigrants. Saturday, April 4 from 2-4 pm in the Asbury Parlor.
- Week 2: Eating Dinner at Chewology (900 Westport Rd, Kansas City, MO 64111).
- Weekend Option: Saturday, April 11 at 5:00 - 6:30 pm
- Weekday Option: Friday, April 17 at 5:00 - 6:30 pm
- Week 3: Watching the Movie “Eat Drink Man Woman” (1994 / Rom-Com / 2 hr 4 min). Saturday, April 25 from 10:30 am-1:00 pm in the Asbury Parlor.
While participants are responsible for their own transportation to each destination, we’re happy to help arrange carpools! Families are always welcome (children must be accompanied by an adult).
