Dan Clevenger

Director of Generosity and Stewardship

Dan Clevenger has been involved in a variety of mission work and church leadership positions since his joining Asbury in 2008.  After a 40 year career with AT&T/Southwestern Bell, Dan joined the Asbury staff as the Director of Generosity and Stewardship in August 2021.  He is excited about the opportunity to help people realize the joy of spiritual giving, and will be leading planned giving initiatives through our Asbury Advocates program, as well as help promote year-round financial education using a variety of materials concerning stewardship, budgeting, estate planning, and the like.

Some fun facts about Dan: Dan has been married to Rebecca Woodman since 2017. Together they share four kids and eight grandchildren, all of whom live within the Kansas City metro area. He enjoys traveling with his wife, and is looking forward to globetrotting during the next few years. He is a regular volunteer at the National World War One Museum and Memorial and gets satisfaction from multi-day wilderness hikes with a 35 lb. backpack.
