Lindsey Lang

Director of Music

Lindsey received her Master’s degree in Choral Conducting from the University of Missouri in 2008 and then studied for two years at the Early Music Institute in Bloomington, IN.  Now, as a freelance performer, she has sung all over North and South America and frequents the Kansas City music scene.  She currently sings with the Kansas City Chorale and other Midwestern choral groups.

Lindsey is passionate about all kinds of music from classical to jazz to pop, and is excited to incorporate these styles into worship at Asbury.  In addition to her work at Asbury, Lindsey teaches voice lessons to all ages, and enjoys cooking and crafting with her husband Frank.
