The Trip to Spain will start with lunch at a Spanish tapas restaurant in Kansas City on Friday, November 8. If you’d like to join this trip, please email Pastor Daekyung Kim or call the church office by Monday, November 4. The itinerary is as below:
- Week 1: Lunch – Friday, November 8 at noon at La Bodega (703 Southwest Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64108)
- Week 2: Presentation about Spain Travel and Camino De Santiago – Saturday, November 16 from 10:30 am to noon in the Asbury Parlor (presented by Asbury members Margie Pryor and Kim Peck)
- Week 3: Movie: “John of the Cross” (1997) – Saturday, November 23 from 4:00-5:30 pm in the Asbury Parlor
As always, we'll begin Week 1 with a small icebreaker - looking up one interesting thing about Spain and sharing that with our companions over lunch. No books to read. Let’s just get to feel, learn, and celebrate various cultures!
