Travel More with Pastor Kim: Korea

This November, we are going to take a trip to Korea as part of the Asbury Travel More project of 2023. This itinerary notably includes a visit to the Korean UMC in Junction City, KS, where we’ll hear about the faith and life of Korean immigrants over a meal and attend the Korean style Friday prayer service.

- Week 1: Eating Lunch - Thursday, November 2 at noon at Chosun Korean BBQ 2 (7800 Shawnee Mission Pkwy, Overland Park, KS 66202)
- Week 2, part 1: Learning about Korea and Korean Churches - Thursday, November 9 at 10:30 a.m. in the Asbury Parlor
- Week 2, part 2: Visiting a Korean church - Friday, November 10 at 3:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at the Korean UMC in Junction City (1003 N Franklin St, Junction City, KS 66441)
- Week 3: Watching the Movie "Welcome to Dongmakgol" (2005) with English subtitles - Thursday, November 16 at 10:30 a.m. in the Asbury Parlor
