Asbury has three worship services, one on Saturday and two on Sunday.

  • Our Saturday service takes place at 5 p.m. in the Chapel located at the East end of the main floor.
  • Sunday's first worship service is at 9 a.m. in the Sanctuary and features a more traditional style of worship complete with organ, chancel choirs and hymns.
  • Sunday's late service begins at 11 a.m. in the Sanctuary. This service is more contemporary and features more praise music than hymns, music from our Worship Team, and a children's time. During this service, children have the opportunity to participate in Children's Church.

We offer communion on the first Saturday and Sunday of the month. Communion in the United Methodist Church is done by intinction, in which you dip the bread into the cup and then eat. We do have a gluten free option for those allergic to gluten.

Sunday School

Between services, from 10-10:45 a.m. we have several Sunday School classes for people of all ages. Throughout the year, we also feature special Sunday School classes. Learn more about our Sunday School offerings by checking out the different ministry areas pages under "Connect."

Children's Church

Immediately following the Children's Time during 11 a.m. worship in the Sanctuary, PreK-2nd grade children are invited to join adult worship leaders in Room 158 for worship designed for children.

Each week, children will hear, study and explore the same scripture and theme in age appropriate ways that the larger congregation is hearing during the sermon. This allows children and their caregivers to continue the conversation weekly worship inspires.

Our young disciples will rejoin worship toward the end of the service to participate with the larger congregation.
